This course identifies how the Kawa Model can be used to address mental health needs for clients with acute neurological conditions.
Objectives:
- Provide occupational therapy practitioners with a program that addresses mental health in clients recovering from acute neurological conditions.
- Provide information regarding current research on the role of occupational therapy practitioners promoting mental health in the neurological population.
- Provide objective data on the feasibility of the Kawa Model as a potentially beneficial tool for targeting mental health in the neuro population.
